Cradlepoint Mobile Broadband Router MBR900 3G/4G

0 Cradlepoint Mobile Broadband Router MBR900 3G/4GA short video explaining the needs for a Mobile Broadband Router. I use this one with a Sprint Aircard device. I have owned it for several months and highly recommend this model if you are in the need for a router that uses mobile broadband cards. One of MANY things I did not mention in the video, was this model supports GPS over WiFi if your Mobile Broadband Card has that capability. This would come in handy for you folks running Microsoft Streets and Trips, or other gps utilizing software. I like to bring my router in the car with my on occasion. I have an AC outlet in my Ford Escape which allows me to plug the router right in, and share the WiFi hot spot on the go.

    @NoXOnThisHand When …
    @NoXOnThisHand When we are using multiple laptops, for example 3, it works great when we are in town and have great coverage. But this is a Sprint 598U working off CDMA 3G technically EVDO, lol. So yes, it should work well in decent coverage area. Now if you are in poor coverage area thats a different story..

    @2003LincolnLS Once …
    @2003LincolnLS Once logged in Make sure your MODEM tab is detecting your device. Also there is a tiny switch on the back of the router that has a { 0 – I }, make sure that switch is slid over to the “I”. That will turn on your modem port….

    @2003LincolnLS Im …
    @2003LincolnLS Im sure we can get it running!

    (if your laptop is getting a network signal from the router) You should be able to type in your browser this IP address 192.168.0.1

    Next you will see your routers home page. The password will be the last 6 digits of your routers MAC address found on the bottom label of your router.

    Once your logged in, Click on BASIC, then Launch the Setup Wizard. After completing that let me know if its up and running?
