Short while ago google had changed their ranking algorithm, in the name of providing more relevant search results for it’s users, google engineers published blog post which indicated there were 11.8% organic search results will be affected, say it another way, there are about 12% of google search results are considered low quality by google itself. The update was initiated more than a year ago, and recently I see some of my ranks were lowered considerably, but almost all the ranks promoted by articles and blog posts were not affected, a few of these keywords ranked better than ever, it’s safe to say that old way of link building is doomed.

So what exactly is linking campaign the old way? a lot of marketing companies did and are doing the plain link building, they add your links to those linking websites without context, the content on those sites will never be updated, and most of them are useless, the name of link spamming sites is justified. Now google algorithm probably will weed out these sites, all the links on those websites will have the same fate.

A few real world examples will help to explain what I said. It was quite some time ago, I needed to rank the keyword, Grade 70 Chain, at that time almost every body was doing plain linking campaign, lately I figured that every site in the campaign had way too many links, worst yet, those sites had no content at all. In the beginning, the ranking of the keyword in question rise pretty fast, lately the keyword link stayed on the first page for a while, the party was over when google updated it’s algorithm. Something opposite happened to this keyword, chain pullers, most back links for this keyword are from articles and posts, almost no plain links, now we have really good ranking for this keyword. Old and outdated linking campaign lost to content linking, what’s next? It all boils down to content, when you create unique and quality content, not only people will love to read your stuff, so do the search engines. How do you do it? Writing articles and building blogs, take a look at this blog, baby strollers , I didn’t put too much effort into it from start, but I never stopped posting, and to my surprise, I have high ranks for some of competitive keywords. As far as SEO concerned, blog marketing with great content is the way to go. Now imagine you have your own blog network, for instance Grade 70 Chains, then it will be easier to do article marketing.

Remember content is king, you just need to create content, get people to enjoy and share your stuff, and put your keywords in the context you’re good to go, this strategy will prevail in short or long term. Whatever you do, you will need persistence and patience, you shouldn’t expect things to improve overnight, be it your business or search rankings, keep doing what we have to do till the end of world. When publisinh articles, I prefer ezine, new article will be indexed within an hour if not minutes, popular blogs will get your post indexed as soon as you post it, here I am going to show you an article in article directory or on a blog, say this one, Chain Binders, quality content, nice presentation, indexed by google, this article serves it’s purpose well.

By the way, the social media is the must have channel for your marketing effort. For wordpress blogs, I recommend twitter tools, sign up for a twitter account and create a new application, configure your twitter tools prpperly, you should choose to post a tweet for every new post, it’s real easy and useful, no one should miss this tool out.

Best Mobile Websites | Mobile Website Development
Get your copy of the FREE report “The 7 Myths About Mobile and The Truth That Can Jet-Fuel Your Business”

When you’ve got a mobile website it puts you streets ahead of your competition. If you don’t have a mobile website your competitors will leave you standing.

Mobiles are an integral part of our lives, so much so that many of us can’t remember a time without them.

Nowadays we’ve got them on us all the time… when we go out we take our wallet or purse, and our mobile. Generally we are NEVER separated from them!

We eat breath and yes even sleep with our mobile phones! 60% actually do take their mobiles to bed every night.

Without doubt the mobile phone has become the most private and personal accessory we own today.

Some of us may remember people carrying filofaxes and personal planners, however the mobile phone is what we carry now.

http://www.MobileWebsiteDesign.me

The new generation want the latest mobile, with all of the connectivity and features.

That is definitely true consumerism, you customers are demanding to get access to everything from their mobile devices…Fact 29% of user only access the internet via their mobiles. There are way more mobile internet devices that pc internet connection…. but if your customers can’t see your website properly on their mobile devices they will just click onto one of your customers site that’s optimised.

That all said, there is a massive lack of knowledge as to just how powerful a mobile can be. Mobiles privide a complimentary mass media platform.

Simply put, a mobile is completely interactive as a platform
It has unique features such as SMS and MMS. These two features alone differentiate it from any other media. The ability to contact and respond to people around the world

http://www.MobileWebsiteDesign.me

It’s little wonder that Mobile has been described as the 7th mass media. In the book “Mobile as 7th of the Mass Media”, Tomi Ahonen makes a compelling case why mobile will be the dominant media. While he rightly says it will not replace other media’s it domination is born from its disruptive nature and the fact is has so many unique abilities. For example a simple text message, is far more disruptive that say the internet was 10 years ago. This is largely because an SMS message enables an immediate response.

The mobile phone or cell phone is without doubt the most widely spread technology ever.

There are now 20 times more mobile devices than Playstations;
30 times more mobile devices than iPods.

Not only is it the only universal gadget the world has ever seen, but it has now become the newest media channel.

The very first media content that discovered mobiles was music ten years ago now. Today over 31% of all music sold worldwide is purchased through mobile devices.

The second category was videogames and over 20% of that market has now migrated to mobile devices.

Social networking, news updates, Television and even internet services are all now moving towards the mobile arena.

Mobile marketing is happening right now.

It is essential that you business at least understand what is happening in the market place and features a mobile website presence.

If you have a mobile website it puts you streets ahead of your competition. If you don’t have a mobile website your competitors will leave you standing.

http://www.MobileWebsiteDesign.me

There’s real first server advantage right now!

In the 100+ years or so that home movies have been around, we have seen them evolve from use by only the extremely wealthy to anyone with a digital camera or mobile device. If we look at the major milestones in film and video development over the years, it’s easy to see how we got to where we are today. The next 100 years should be equally fascinating!

Overview

Since the first introduction of moving images in the late 19th century, we have been fascinated with its powerful entertainment and storytelling capabilities. Capturing the essence of people moving around, talking, and gesturing is the highest power of documentation. It surpasses the letters, diaries and still photography that previously had been the primary method of recording and communicating.

In a sense, the consumer-accessible film that became available in the early 1900s represents the 20th century version of what we now call user-generated content. From the moment that manufacturers like Eastman Kodak Company provided consumers the ability to take home movies on their own, the industry began a wonderful and complex evolution that has brought us to the YouTube video generation of today.

Now, anyone can be his or her own historian and upload moving images to the World Wide Web. But how did we get here?

Evolution from 16mm Film to Digital Video

The introduction of motion picture cameras and projectors in the 1880s created enthusiastic audiences for this new medium, and prompted wealthy individuals with the financial resources to go out and purchase a home movie camera of their own.

Early efforts at producing cameras and projectors for consumers were quite expensive, however, and to make matters more challenging, the early film was manufactured out of a nitrate, a highly flammable and dangerous material. Many of the early silent films have been lost due to their nitrate composition.

One of the more successful formats to subsequently emerge in the 1920s was 16mm film by Eastman Kodak. (The mm increment refers to the actual width of the film strip). Recognizing its significance, several manufacturers started producing cameras based on this format. Unlike the nitrate film of earlier years, the newer film was manufactured on a celluloid base, for greater safety. The cost for a typical family, however, was still somewhat prohibitive. Only the rich and privileged had the means to buy the equipment necessary. This fact galvanized the market into experimenting with less costly film formats for mass manufacturing.

This led to the introduction of 8mm film in the early 1930s. At half the width of 16mm, 8mm film was less expensive and easier to use. The 1930s saw other key developments as well, including the ability of sound and new color film for consumer use, including the famous Kodachrome film.

For the next few decades, both 8mm and 16mm film formats were used to make home movies, with average consumers preferring the smaller gauge of the 8mm film, and more professional videographers opting for 16mm. Home movie making continued its gradual increase in popularity until 1965, when a new format called Super 8 was launched. Unlike the previous formats, which required manual loading, it was housed in a cartridge system. Super 8 film was easier to use and less expensive, and helped expand home movie technology to the many individuals and families who could not afford the 8mm and 16mm formats. As a result, more and more people started to take home movies to record their family milestones.

One of the elements that facilitated the next major evolution in home movies was television. In the 1970s and 1980s, TV stations switched from film to videotape, which was easier to work with, more affordable, and could be viewed immediately – no more hassles of shipping off the film to a lab for processing. This made the evening news more “real time” than ever before.

While film was still the best media format for color and vibrancy, the ease of use and affordability of videotape could not be denied. VHS (Vertical Helican Scan) and Betamax had emerged in the 1970s as two competing formats, with VHS format eventually winning out. Consumer-grade videotape was available as VHS, VHSc (a compact version), and 8mm tape. The advantage of VHS-C and 8mm tape was that they enabled an even smaller videocamera to be used, instead of the bulky systems that were so heavy and cumbersome. Further refinements in technology also allowed for longer and longer recording times on the tapes, increasing from 30 minutes to several hours.

Consumers had quickly caught on to the advantages that the TV stations were already enjoying, and during the 1970s to early 1990s video camcorders and their accompanying VCR (video cassette recorder) systems exploded exponentially in popularity. An entire generation of young families was able to capture their children on video for the first time, using affordable camcorders and cassettes that were much easier to switch out than their predecessors.

This proliferation and increase in familiarity with home movie making paved the way for the digital revolution. Now that a majority of individuals had used camcorders, or at least viewed home movies made by other amateur videographers, the transition to digital was fairly intuitive. The first mini digital video cassettes in the 1990s prompted the manufacture of even smaller camcorders, providing the ultimate in lightness and portability. These MiniDV cassettes also offered extended longevity and many other advantages including digital image clarity and lower cost.

In the last few years, the most significant milestone has been the development of videocameras that record right to a DVD disk or to the camera’s built-in hard drive, thus eliminating yet another step in the process of transferring the footage directly to digital formats.

The power of digital video and the increasing sophistication of the Internet fortuitously converged in the early 21st century to create the phenomenon known as social media. Once video is in digital form, anyone can upload the content to the World Wide Web and make it accessible to hundreds of thousands of viewers. Consequently, user-generated content in the home movie world has moved from one-to-a few to one-to-many to one-to-millions. No more clunky projectors, clumsy camcorder hookups with a myriad of cables linking to TVs, or dealing with fragile physical media such as videotape.

The Future of Home Movies

Today, hundreds of moments are captured daily on digital video – there probably has never before been a generation that has been so completely documented in its every activity and movement.

Yet, boxes and boxes of unconverted old home movie film reels and videotapes remain trapped in families’ basements and closets everywhere. These formats, ranging from 8mm to VHS tape, pre-date the digital revolution.

Fortunately, there are new organizations and services that have formed with the goal of preserving these old formats and publicizing the urgent need to get these physical media into the longevity of the digital world as soon as possible. Organizations such as Home Movie Day ( www.homemovieday.com ) hold worldwide celebrations to commemorate amateur filmmaking, and provide a venue where families can screen their old home movies to catch a glimpse of their heritage.

In the last 100+ years, moving images have become increasingly more affordable, convenient, and accessible through a variety of devices, whether it’s television, computers, cellphones, or other mobile devices. More than ever, we have the ability to record and view personal slices of life to add to the professional footage captured as part of broadcast news segments, documentaries, and Hollywood films. It will be interesting to see what the future brings as video user-generated content matures. If history is any example, the trend toward lighter, faster, easier, less expensive and more widely shared home movies will continue.

Look at your local Real Estate (MLS) Multiple Listing Service sites on the Internet. You can find comparable pricing and you may also consider listing through a Realtor. Realtors usually charge a one time fee to list it or you can find one to manage it for a monthly fee. Each option should give you a say on who you actually rent it to.
Good luck!

When my wife and I discovered that she was pregnant we became frantic. Where we lived at the time wasn’t exactly the size required for a young family! We needed a starter home; a place for our child to grow up. We wanted to buy somewhere that wasn’t too big but equally allowed us the space to have a room for our child when she was born.

Getting a mortgage was going to prove difficult as both my wife and I already had bad credit records as a result of student debt and a couple of missed payments. A friend suggested we try to looking into homeowner loans to allow us to get a foot on the property ladder.

The Collateral

One of the terms of a secured loan is that in order for the lender to process the application, you would have to offer something up as collateral, usually something of equal or more value than that of the actual loan. We were getting a loan for £45,000; unfortunately, there was nothing we owned that was worth that much. We were at a loss to find something either one of us possessed that would even come close. Fortunately, my wife’s parents were gracious enough to allow us to use their home as security for the loan. Before the house could even be considered as collateral the bank had to send out property valuers to confirm the market value. Fortunately, the house was valued at over £300,000, well over the amount of equity needed for the secured loan. In addition, my wife’s parents had no mortgage or loans themselves secured against this property.

Once the house was valued and written in as appropriate collateral for the loan, we entered the credit check phase of the loan process. Remember, this is where my wife and I had some serious problems; neither one of us expected to be able to walk away with the loan money. Thank goodness that the person reviewing our application was willing to work with us in getting our credit reports cleared up. He made a list of all the debtors that my wife and I had to contact to clear up some of the financial problems. After a week of discussions, some pleading and promises of prompt payments upon the receipt of the secured loan, we were finally able to sign the completed application and wait for final approval.

The Payout

Once the papers for the secured loan were signed and processed, the money was deposited straight into our bank account. We paid off our creditors as we had committed to and the remainder of the money went towards purchasing a nice 2 bedroom mobile home. A mobile home wasn’t exactly what either of us had imagined as our first home, but it was still a lovely feeling walking through the door of own home for the first time rather than renting some dingy flat.

We had a home to call our own, a place to raise out daughter and a place we could decorate as we saw fit. The feeling of freedom and accomplishment was overwhelming.
