What is the average mobile home park rent rate in California?

My husband and I are interested in buying a mobile home in southern California. If we were to pay for the mobile home in full, how much could we be expecting to pay monthly for "Park-Rent"?
Is it possible to buy a mobile home where we don’t have to pay for lot rent?

I don’t think you’d be able to find a a mobile home in which you don’t have to pay rent for, unless you purchase a lot and use it for that purpose. My parents live in a mobile home currently, and they pay about $300-400 monthly for their "space", including sewer, trash, water, & gas. Hope that helped! Good luck on your purchase icon smile What is the average mobile home park rent rate in California?

Can you make your mobile device not connect to the "mobile" website?

Is there a way for your iphone to not get the mobile website?
Is there anyway to trick a website for it not to know you have a mobile device, so you go on the real website, and not a modified one?
I know some have a link that reads click here for normal view, but some do not.

I had an ipod touch and had bought a browser through the app store that had an option to ‘trick’ websites into thinking it was a browser of your choice. With that in mind, I’d suggest searching through the app store for something similar (sorry I can’t remember the name of the app and no longer have the device.)
I’ll update this with the apps name if it comes to me.

Btw, it won’t be free. I think I payed 2-5 $ for it.

Mobile Phone Deal: Choose the Way you Talk

Zeroing in on a mobile phone deal was never easy but it would become so abstruse a matter was certainly beyond anyone’s expectation. The travesty of this fact is even more ironical. It is nothing but a problem of choice i.e., too many options available to consumers in the process of competition in the market to woo more and more of them. Selecting a mobile phone deal is a heady mixture of just too many parameters, viz. a befitting mobile handset, feasible tariff plan and applicable network options. To say that they barely are ‘tip of the iceberg’ wouldn’t be an overstatement.

Don’t get me wrong as I am neither cynical towards fetching a mobile phone deal nor am I apprehensive of too many options. Caution is the undercurrent of this write-up as selection a proper mobile phone deal is nothing less than any of your decisions.

Before you make up your mind on a particular mobile phone deal, it is always suggested to be very clear of your priorities. Answering these questions would probably help your cause-

How often d you intend to use your phone?

What kind of services are you looking forward to?

What are the network options available in your area and to most of the people you would be calling?

Do you often need to go overseas for business/leisure purposes?

Based on your response to these queries, you may decide on pay as you go mobile phone, contract mobile phones or pay up front mobile phone deals. Every one of these options has their own pros and cons for which nobody else could be help responsible but your own choice. So, make sure that before you reach on a decision to nail down on a particular mobile phone deal, go through trivia of the website, transparency of offers and how good it is in providing you with an efficient and effective comparison chart of various manufacturers, networks and tariff plans.

Mobile-phone-deal-uk.co.uk seem to be one of those website which has taken the pains of providing consumers with a well-built comparison chart and they have listed a wide range of mobile handsets along with flexible mobile phone deals to justify your decision and make you feel prudent when you come home with a deal.

Mobile VoIP – Connecting a Cell Phone

VoIP, known as Voice Over Internet Protocol, has created quite a buzz. It has helped to reduce phone costs and given people opportunities to save on phone bills each month. VoIP is now being used with cell phones as well. Long distance calls, when dialed on a cell phone, can cost a very great deal of money. If you use your cell phone to dial long distance quite often, VoIP may be the technology for you.

VoIP technology combined with cell phones is for the person who is constantly on the go, and can’t be tied to a computer all day to conduct his or her business. Although there do exist wireless IP phones, you can’t roam everywhere with them. You may be the type of person who needs to do multiple tasks at once. If the cell phone is a mainstay in your life, then mobile VoIP will be just what you need to make life easier.

On a cell phone you pay a flat monthly fee for a certain number of minutes. If you find you often exceed these minutes due to the number of long distance calls you make, VoIP can help you out. Currently, Mino Wireless USA is claiming to be the first provider of mobile VoIP in the USA. They charge 2.2 cents per minute, in addition to a flat monthly fee, for calls to forty different countries. They do require that the user subscribe to Cingular, Nextel or T-Mobile services for Internet data. In addition, the phone must be able to handle JAVA.

Various mobile carriers are definitely interested in providing VoIP with their cellular technology. In fact, many carriers currently use VoIP for their own operations for cost saving purposes. They want their users to be able to take advantage of this also. They can implement this service themselves, but they are concerned with voice quality issues. If companies like Mino really take off, then chances are mobile carriers will block this service to their phones and offer VoIP themselves.

Wi-Fi is another driving force behind VoIP with cell phones. Wi-Fi utilizes free airwaves over their short-range wireless broadband network. Wireless Wi-Fi handsets allow users to make free calls over their Wi-Fi networks. By making VoIP calls over Wi-Fi networks, the number of calls over cellular networks will decrease. As you can imagine, mobile carriers are not in any hurry to lose this business.

VoIP currently has an annual increase in subscribers. VoIP cellular phones will bring to mobile technology the benefits these subscribers now experience. Cost savings is the best known of these benefits. Before jumping to this service, the user must determine what, if any, their savings will be, and businesses or businessmen will be the ones who will benefit the most from this. Although cell phone companies are not quickly launching this, the increase each year of VoIP subscribers will be a force they will not be able to counter. It seems only natural to combine high-speed mobile technology with the Internet. VoIP cell phones will offer freedom of movement and lower prices. Now we can take advantage of cutting our cell phone costs also.

How can I redirect my website for mobile?

I know I have to create a new website for mobile, but how do I make it so that the mobile automatically redirects to my mobile website.

Your phone will NOT just recognize if there is a mobile version available.

If your website is built correctly, you only need a stylesheet. Then when you are adding the <link /> tag, add the media type as handheld like this media="handheld"

So when the webpage is accessed by a mobile device, the browser will know to load the handheld css file.

The other option is to add some kind of check to see if the browser is on a mobile phone. For example in PHP on an HTC phone

<?php
if($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'] == ‘HTC_Pro_T7272 Opera/9.50′) {
header(‘http://domain.com/mobileversion");
exit();
}
else
{
echo ‘Show regular site for PCs.’;
}
?>

Also be sure to check for all Mobile User Agent Strings.
